Call for contributions for boys and young men to participate in PhD research

Beyond Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation: Exploring boys and young men’s experiences of moving forward
Do you work with boys and young men who have experienced child sexual abuse and/or exploitation?

Would your service like to contribute to a PhD research project?

If so, I would like to hear from you.

  • Largely absent from research into male sexual abuse/exploitation are the voices of boys and young men whose lives are at the centre.
  • I would like to give boys and young men aged 14-20 the opportunity to share their views on the effect that sexual abuse/exploitation had on their lives and what their experiences are of seeking help, support and moving forward.
  • By taking part, boys and young men will be able to provide a unique & powerful insight into their views which can be used to increase understanding and make changes to improve responses for other boys.
  •  Participants can share their views by having a conversation with me either face to face or virtually via Microsoft Teams. It will be completely anonymous.

If you are interested in taking part, or would like more information, please feel free to contact
